Jenny L Beijar
Our Normal Association
Jenny Lindström Beijar is the founder of Our Normal Association, an NGO dedicated to ensuring families of children with diverse diagnoses and abilities are included and heard in society. To drive societal change, Our Normal integrates design methodologies, such as universal and inclusive design, to bridge the gap between families’ expressed needs and proposed solutions, and the expertise of design and innovation professionals.
Jenny has +10 years of experience from management consultancy in both private and public sector, and + 5 years from social entrepreneurship, service design and digital transformation in the health care sector. She is a mother of two, one who was born with Down Syndrome. In 2022 she was elected as an Ashoka fellow for her work with Our Normal and her way to address systemic change for disability inclusion from a family-centric perspective. Jenny holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.
