Tony Olsson (he/him) is Axis Communications' Lead Product Designer for New Business, focusing on UX design for access control management products.
With over 15 years in the tech industry, Tony has led design initiatives at Assa Abloy, Tetra Pak, the municipality of Malmö, Kährs Flooring, and ADB Safegate. He has also been an adjunct lecturer at Malmö University, nurturing future technologists and designers. His work spans AI-driven tools, consumer applications, and digital learning environments.
Tony's expertise includes emerging technologies, digital and physical infrastructures, and the intersection of design and human experience. His research in telehaptics complements his books on DIY wearable computing, highlighting his commitment to innovative technology. Holding a Master’s in Computer Science and Bachelor's in Interaction Design and Philosophy, Tony is dedicated to advancing technology through thoughtful design.
