Joshua Idehen (He/Him) is a British-born Nigerian based in Sweden. A spoken word artist and musician, he has featured on Mercury Award-nominated albums Channel The Spirits  and Your Queen Is A Reptile (by The Comet Is Coming and Sons Of Kemet, respectively) and the Mobo winning Black Is The Future, by Sons of Kemet. His mixtape -in collaboration with Ludvig Parment - Learn To Swim released in 2023 to critical acclaim, including a Manifest Award nomination. He recently worked with UK indie band Metronomy on their 2024 single "With Balance". His collected works Songbook releases Oct 24 2024 via Bad Betty Press. His work deals with politics and the human condition with a sometimes humorous, sometimes biting and always heartfelt tone.
